Nursery – Part 1

Ryan put together the crib yesterday. Paisley and I helped, and d’Artagnan supervised from the relative security of the doorway. (It must be exhausting to have to dash away to safety every time someone opens a package or shifts position.) We were lucky enough to find a nice, sturdy changing table at a consignment shop — almost exactly the same color as the crib, with very similar styling, and half the cost of the least expensive new tables we’d seen in stores. (We want to get a dresser, but think we might wait until garage sale season.)

It’s a lot of fun to see things coming together… Still a lot of work to do (clearing out those shelves, replacing wall decor, cleaning out the closet) but it’s beginning to look like a nursery!
